Brick Rewards for DIFF_RENT Residents — Earn Rewards on Your Rent

DIFF_RENT has partnered with Brick Rewards to give residents a way to earn points when their regular rent payments are verified. Brick is free to join. Use the DIFF_RENT referral code LOVEDIFFRENT when you sign up through Brick's DIFF_RENT partnership page.

How Brick Rewards works

  1. Download Brick Rewards and create a free account.
  2. With your permission, securely connect your bank account using Brick's FCA-regulated bank-feed provider.
  3. Keep paying rent the way you normally do. Brick detects verified regular rent payments and awards points for qualifying on-time payments.
  4. Explore the current rewards and redeem your points in the Brick app.

Brick works independently of your landlord: no change to your DIFF_RENT rent payment method is needed. Brick says it cannot make payments or move your money and that you can disconnect your bank account at any time. Brick determines eligibility for points and rewards under its current terms.

What can you use Brick points for?

Brick advertises rewards across food and drink, fitness, gift cards, experiences and travel. Its local partners may offer bonus points and neighbourhood benefits, and members can explore entries to Brick's monthly rent giveaway. Reward selection, redemption requirements and availability can change; check the Brick app for current options. Some benefits shown by Brick, including certain travel and rent-credit options, are marked as coming soon rather than currently available.

Optional rent-payment reporting

Brick offers an optional premium feature to report qualifying rent payments to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. This is not part of its free membership and does not guarantee an improvement to your credit score. Review Brick's current price, eligibility and terms before opting in.

Do I need to change how I pay my rent?

No. Keep paying DIFF_RENT in your normal way. Brick uses your permissioned bank connection to identify qualifying payments.

Do I need my landlord's permission?

Brick says no. You register directly with Brick, independently of your landlord.

Is Brick free?

Brick is free to join and use for rent rewards. Its optional credit-reporting feature is premium.

Can I earn points if I pay a housemate?

Brick says you may still be eligible if it can verify a regular rent payment from your bank account each month; check directly with Brick for your circumstances.
